Akropong is a town in South-Eastern Ghana and is the capital of the Akwapim North Municipal, a Municipal in the Eastern Region of South Ghana.

This town is widely known for its Culture, especially the Odwira festival, one of Ghana’s great festivals that is widely attended by people from all walks of life including the diaspora.
